A celebration of life will be held at McWilliams Funeral Home (formerly Wachterhauser) in Alpena, Michigan, on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., with luncheon to follow. Friends and family may begin to gather at 12:00 p.m. Memorials can be made to Gift of Life of Michigan.
Funeral service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 12, 2023, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. Interment will follow at East Lawn Memory Gardens in Okemos. Instead they request that attendees wear Harry Potter Shirts, Dinosaur Shirts, Avatar the Last Airbender Shirts, Pokémon Shirts, MSU shirts, Roblox shirts, or if you have none of those Hogwarts House Colors. . In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Jim’s name to The Reading People in Lansing, MI, Ele’s Place, C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital PICU, The Gift of Life Michigan, or Impression 5 Science Center.
