Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. To honor Caleb, please come for the visitation, dressed like you were just walking into Blue Owl to sit across the bar and have a coffee chat with him. The graveside service will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
A memorial service and lunch will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at South Lansing Christian Church.
Memorial Mass: 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 22, 2026, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, East Lansing. Her family will receive relatives and friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Lansing Stoneleigh Residence.
The celebration Grethe’s life will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Messiah Lutheran Church, 5740 W. Holt Rd., Holt, Michigan 48842, with a luncheon to follow. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Lansing. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. A luncheon will follow interment.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Lansing. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Everyone is welcome to a luncheon at the church following the service and the interment at Wacousta Cemetery to end the day. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to either “Stephen’s Fund” through Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church or Hospice House of Mid-Michigan.
John’s celebration of life will take place on July 18, 2026 in Lansing, Michigan.
