Current Services

A celebration of Chris’s life will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Epic Community Church, Portland, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention – Michigan Chapter (Out of the Darkness Walks); to a GoFundMe fundraiser; or to the funeral home to go towards funeral expenses.

The funeral service will be held at Estes-Leadley Funeral Home, 2121 Cedar Street, in Holt, MI on Saturday, August 1st, at 2:00 p.m., visitation will be on Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.  There will be livestream of the funeral. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Rainbow Homes – https://rainbow-homes.org/  Also, Doris loved bright colors and paisley.  Please feel free to dress accordingly.  She would love it.
