I worked with Bob for many years at MDOT. He was always helpful and nice to me. Saw him a few times this past summer when I stopped to pick up coffee at QD on Pine Street. We hugged and had a few good laughs about the old MDOT days. He was a gentle giant! May he rest peacefully in heaven!

A Great, Lovely Man. Very generous wilt his time and talents. He had a major influence on all the lives he touched. His size mirrored the size of his heart

I worked with Robert at MDOT until 2001 when I retired. Also spent many hours with him doing personal construction projects. Also Bowled and golfed with him for years. He will be so missed. Robert’s friendship and personality by far is second to none. My prayers are with Pat and the family.

I’m so sad to learn about Bob’s passing. I worked with Bob at MDOT. The last few years I was always happy to see Bob when he would come to my work, at Target on West Saginaw. I will miss seeing him and our “catch up” conversations about former employees and acquaintances. My heart goes out to Bob’s family.

So sad to hear of Bob’s passing. He and his lovely wife were our neighbors for over 30 years in the Old Oakland neighborhood. Bob was a wonderful man, always a kind word, outgoing and friendly. He will be missed! Our hearts are sad!

Had to the honor to bowl with Bob in the Joe Joseph classic league at pro-bowl west. He was a great team mate but a better person!!!!!! He was so kind and would do anything for you. Ran into him a few months ago and he gave me the famous Bob bearhug!!! Rest in peace my friend.

I miss Bob so much! His humor, his stubbornness, his huge huge heart! I was a nurse where he was living with his amazing beautiful wife pat! I loved everything about the two of them! They story on how they met and how much they both were head over heels for each other! Bob and pat are like family and I’m just heart broken over his passing.
