Born November 30, 1937 in Algonac, Michigan passed away Monday, October 9, 2023 at the age of 85.
Robert retired from the State of Michigan, Department of Transportation.
Funeral services will be held at the 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, 325 W. Washtenaw St., Lansing, MI 48933. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Lansing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday for one hour prior to the service.

October 12, 2023 at 8:53 amI worked with Bob for many years at MDOT. He was always helpful and nice to me. Saw him a few times this past summer when I stopped to pick up coffee at QD on Pine Street. We hugged and had a few good laughs about the old MDOT days. He was a gentle giant! May he rest peacefully in heaven!

Hard to drive by now without him sitting on the porch..R.I.P.

He will be so missed. Robert’s friendship and personality by far is second to none. My prayers are with Pat and the family.

The last few years I was always happy to see Bob when he would come to my work, at Target on West Saginaw. I will miss seeing him and our “catch up” conversations about former employees and acquaintances. My heart goes out to Bob’s family.

He was so kind and would do anything for you. Ran into him a few months ago and he gave me the famous Bob bearhug!!! Rest in peace my friend.

I loved everything about the two of them! They story on how they met and how much they both were head over heels for each other! Bob and pat are like family and I’m just heart broken over his passing.
