Obituaries

The service will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the veterans organization of one’s choice.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, August 31, at Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1001 N. Capitol Avenue, Lansing, MI 48906, followed by a reception at the church.  There will be a period for visiting with the family at the church before the service, beginning at 12:00.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to Emanuel Lutheran Church General Fund or to the Williamston Food Bank, P.O. Box 65, Williamston, MI 48895.

A celebration of Florence’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at Noon on Wednesday.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024, from 4pm to 5pm at the Country Club of Lansing, with a reception from 5pm to 7pm to follow.

A memorial visitation will be held at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society.

The funeral will be 12:00p.m., Friday, August 23, 2024, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Donations may be made to the MSU Jazz Program or Renewal, https://www.renewal.org/donate.

There will be no service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 238 in Holt.

A Memorial Service will be held at Noon on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Bretton Woods Covenant Church, Lansing.  Visitation before the service at 11:00 a.m. and during the luncheon following the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bretton Woods Covenant Church.

Memorial service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2024, at Grace United Methodist Church, Lansing. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to The Johns/Bassett Scholarship Fund for Seminary Students.

Albert’s family will receive friends at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 19, 2024.  Private interment with military honors will take place in Leek Cemetery. 

 There will be a memorial service held 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Christ Community Church, 227 North Capitol Lansing, MI 48933. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to McLaren Hospital Volunteer Services. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel

Age 85 of Lansing passed away August 3, 2024. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made The Salvation Army, Lansing Citadel.

A memorial gathering is being planned for a future date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
