Connie Sue Norris

Dansville, MI

Born August 26, 1953 in Lansing, Michigan daughter of the late Raymond and Barbara Myers passed away at home on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at the age of 71.

Surviving are her husband of almost 50 years, William A. Norris; son, William R. Norris; grandchildren, Kira M. Norris and Gabriel Lloyd; brother, Mike Myers; and nephews, Michael and Brad Myers.

Connie was preceded in death by her son, Sgt. Curtis Lee Norris, killed in action in Iraq in 2006 and her in-laws, Leo and Alice Norris.

Connie was a Gold Star mother.  She worked for several nursing homes for years prior to working for the City of Lansing, Parks Department.  She retired from the city after 15 years of service.  Connie enjoyed gardening and feeding the birds.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 4444 W. Grand River Ave., Lansing, MI 48906.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Children’s (Shriners Hospitals for Children).
