Shannon Marie Shepard

Born May 2, 1969 in Lansing, died unexpectedly and peacefully on Nov. 4, 2024.
She leaves behind her mother, Jan Shepard of Holt; father, J. Terrell Shepard (deceased); brother, Andrew (Melissa) Shepard and niece Willow; sister, Shelli (Mike) Castilla and nephew Blake Delapaz, along with many extended family members and numerous friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 6:00pm-8:00pm, at South Church of the Nazarene, 401 W. Holmes Rd, Lansing, MI, 48910.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in loving memory of Shannon, may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society.
Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.

November 12, 2024 at 6:23 pmShannon, it is times like this when I have to stop and take a deep breath. I am so sad that I did not get the opportunity to say good bye to you. I think of the last time I saw you and we hugged making a promise to stay in touch. I will never take anyone for granted but you must know that God had to of known what a special person you were and that you had a heart of gold. I’m sorry that you had to go this soon in life. My prayers go out to Shelly and your whole family for their loss. You will missed!!!
