I have known Dan Murphy since he was a young child. He was always a good kid who grew up to be a wonderful young man and adult. He came from a loving nurturing family. He died too young and suffered much these last few years.

May God wipe away all his tears, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things have passed away. Rev. 21:4

A great brother, uncle, friend and father! He was everyone’s confidence in times of great trial. He was a listener, and always ended with, “I’ll pray for you”. Many years ago when his inoperable tumor was suppose to burst, and he would be paraplegic, my daughter Reilly (minister), and son Kris and I prayed on him at my nephew Daniel’s wedding it never took his walking away. THE Lord healed him as much as he could. Dan lived courageously, from then on. He was a true hero, and when you suffer remember to put on Murphs smile. Go Green and Go Lions, he was my rainbow, and the lesson to live well smile often, and to love well.
