John chose not to have a funeral. His preference was that people who cared should go out and share an act of kindness with someone less fortunate or make a donation to a favorite charity in his honor. Life is short, make a difference.
A private service will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Leader Dogs for the Blind, or to Elara Caring Hospice in Jackson.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Christ Community Church, Lansing. Memorial contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society.

Her family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Interment took place at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, October, 31, 2021, at Evergreen Cemetery, in Lansing, Michigan.
