Big Nick, beloved family and extended family – words of condolence and sympathy do not seem adequate to express the heaviness in our hearts. Linda Riggs was the Monarch of the Riverfront community – she was neighbor, extended family, friend, and community connector. We were blessed to share many life happenings with Linda and Nick. We were indeed family – if Little Nick, Reyna, or Dominic were at Linda’s when Tracey visited all doors were open and chairs added to the family table. Evening fireworks, parking spaces, mac & cheese, the light in your window next door will be different. We will miss you Linda Riggs and cherish our memories. Rest in Peace.

Nick and family. My condolences go to you and family at the passing of our cousin Linda. She was a beacon of light and life that we will all miss. My dad, Judge Jack and Gram Naomi loved her so much and she gave me a well needed jo when i lived there. Love you all Much.

Still in disbelief that this full of love, light, energy from my beautiful cousin is no longer in our physical presence. Yes absent from the body present with the Lord and I believe you are well still with all that glow shinning upon everyone still. Melodies from heaven Linda you are, rain down us! Thank you for my recent birthday message and all the messages we shared. I also felt your soul through each- you simply are radiant inside and out . You are loved and missed.

Well, Nick, I am so sorry to hear about Linda. I used to work with her at MSU and we always had a wonderful time. She was a good and loyal friend. Our friendship goes back to the 70’s when I lived in married housing. This world will be missing a very special lady!

I can’t image having missed a grandchild being born but i know your spirit lives in that child’s soul. You scolded, helped, and softened my rough edges. Guess I wait till we meet again my friend.
