Nicholas James Nobach

Holt, Michigan.  Born May 27, 1984 in Lansing, Michigan, went to be in Heaven, with his mom, Shawne, on January 21, 2022, at age 37.

Nicholas is survived by his father, James Nobach; grandfather, Jim Clifford; grandmother, Judy Towner along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his mother, Nicholas was preceded in death by grandparents, Kenneth and Eleanor Nobach along with several aunts and uncles.  His grandma Eleanor was instrumental in helping Jim raise Nick and getting them through some very difficult times.

He was a 2003 graduate of Holt High School, was a fine artist, a self employed entrepreneur and had a very green thumb.  Nicholas was an animal lover, enjoyed the outdoors, the water (especially boating), summer weekends at the family’s cottage on Drummond Island, fishing, and snowmobiling.  He was also an avid snowboarder, skier, and skateboarder.

A celebration of Nicholas’ life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.

Dear Nick ~
I’ve loved you like a son since the day you were born. I’m sad that you’re gone, and I’ll always miss you, but it’s so comforting to know you are reunited with your Mom. Love you both forever, Aunt Jan

My dear friend,
Although it’s been a few years since we have spoke, I’ve always considered you one of my closest childhood friends. There isn’t a memory, good or bad that doesn’t involve you one way or another. My heart breaks for your family and loved ones! See you on the other side brother. You will not be forgotten!!

Dear Jim, my sincere condolences of your loss of Nick. I always had a soft spot in my heart for him and enjoyed our little talks when he was in our store in Holt. What a great smile he had. May warm memories of Nick bring you comfort and smiles .
