Mildred “Millie” Handziak
Age 84, passed peacefully on January 11, 2022. She was born July 31, 1937, in Moorestown, Michigan. Mildred dedicated her life to the service of others, as President of the Women’s Auxiliary for the American Legion, a reading aide at Sycamore Elementary, in childcare at EC3, active in the Catholic Church including teaching Catechism and singing in the choir, and as a healthcare aide for Kelly’s Home Healthcare, retiring in 1995.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Edward and daughter Phyllis Anderson. Surviving is 6 children, Edward Handziak Jr., Stanley Handziak, Richard (Karla) Handziak, Beth Gibbs, Todd (Tammy) Handziak, Sarah (Brian) Middleton, 22 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, her brother Joseph Brown, and sister Eunice Brown.
