The service will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. His family will receive relatives and friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

No public service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to: First Church of Christ, Scientist, Royal Oak or to Japhet School, Clawson.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 31, 2022, at St. Mary Cathedral, Lansing. The Rite of Committal will take place in Summit Cemetery, Williamston. His family will receive relatives and friends from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, October 30th at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, and beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday at the church.

A celebration will be held Wednesday, November 2, from 1-3 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Mason. All are welcome and encouraged to share memories. Age 85 of Williamston passed away, October 17, 2022 in Lansing. There will be no public service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in memory of Joan to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Mason. If you wish to make a donation in Jim’s honor, you can send it to: Local Church Bible Publishers, Lansing.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The VFW Children’s Home in Eaton Rapids, or to Eaton Community Palliative Care.

A celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Katherine’s Episcopal Church, Williamston.
