DUE TO A NOROVIRUS OUTBREAK WITHIN THE FAMILY VISITATION HAS BEEN CANCELLED. THE SERVICE HAS BEEN MOVED TO THE CEMETERY. GRAVESIDE SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 11:30 A.M. AT CHAPEL HILL MEMORIAL GARDENS IN LANSING. In lieu of flower, memorial contributions may be made to Compassus Hospice.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 24, 2025, at Abundant Grace Faith Church in Lansing. Family hour will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church.

Funeral service: 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2025, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until service starts at Noon. Interment will take place at Naperville Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. (CST) on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Holt United Methodist Church. Interment will take place at 12:00 p.m. at Deepdale Memorial Gardens. His family will receive friends at the church beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Age 79 of Lansing, formerly of New Jersey, passed away, January 4, 2025 in Lansing. Arrangements are incomplete at this time.

Celebration of life service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday and beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her honor to her favorite charities: the ACLU, Southern Poverty Law Center, WKAR Public Television and Radio, The Spartan Marching Band Fan Club, or to any local library or food pantry.

Celebration: 5-8 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the Copper Moon event venue at 1247 Center Street in Lansing’s Old Town.  Donations may be made to the W. Albert Hakala Scholarship Fund at Northern Michigan University.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Delta Center Cemetery.  His family will receive friends at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emanuel Lutheran Church Restoration Fund.

Memorial visitation: 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Riverwalk Theatre, Lansing. Please consider a donation to the Riverwalk Theatre or the Capital Area Humane Society in Janet’s memory.

A celebration of Samantha’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, with visitation starting at 6:00 p.m. where friends and family can come together to share stories and memories of a life lived with passion, purpose, and love for her family and the equestrian world. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Horses’ Haven in Howell, Michigan.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2025, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, where his family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Maple Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice.

There will be a private graveside service held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Funeral Homes.

The funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 3, 2025, at First Presbyterian Church of Holt. His family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Karmanos Cancer Center, Zero Out Prostate Cancer, First Presbyterian Church of Holt, or American Red Cross.

Funeral Mass: 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the Catholic Community of St. Jude, DeWitt. Entombment will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lansing. His family will receive relatives and friends from 3-6 p.m. on Friday at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, and beginning at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.

There will be a memorial service held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2025 at The Peoples Church, 200 W. Grand River Ave., East Lansing, MI 48823. Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the memorial service.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2024, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.  Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Thursday.
