Nancy Linda Wagner
East Lansing, MI
With profound sadness we share the passing of our beloved Mother Nancy Wagner.
She was pronounced dead on March 18, 2025. She passed away at her home due to natural causes.
She was a beautiful, intelligent, strong and fiercely independent woman who devoted her life to loving her large family and friends. She was born in Lansing, Michigan, where she spent most of her life. She was first born to her 12 siblings. Having to share space growing up may explain her passion and flair in the Home Interior Design skills, keeping her individual space stylish. She started her family at a young age and despite giving 100% of herself to that endeavor, she still managed to pursue higher education. She was a hard worker and someone to come to when advice was needed. She had a kind and welcoming smile which usually accompanied a laugh. You could feel the love in her welcome.
She was a loving mother to Angela (Larry) Zamora, Nicole (James) Hershman, Rachel (Greg) Zamora. Grandmother to Dylan Hershman, Kacey (Emily) Zamora, Traye Zamora and Great-Grandmother to Wednesday Lane and Emma Zamora. Loving Big Sister to Wayne (Holly) Smith, Sharon (Rick) Khouri, Kevin (Ann) Ringle. Stepsister to Darrell (Kay) Ringle, Dawn (Jim) Ringle, Shirly (Don) Porter, Deloris (Gary) Sadowski, Doris Essenburg and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Father Lloyd (Sara) Smith, Mother Marjorie (Dale) Ringle. Siblings Steven Smith, Bonnie Alden, Daniel Smith and Susan Blair and Granddaughter Jessica Zamora.
Nancy will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.
