The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Galilee Baptist Church, 2511 Reo Rd., Lansing, MI. Her family will receive relatives and friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday at the church.
Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.

March 26, 2025 at 10:39 amMs. Katie was truly loving, sweet, kind and had a heart of GOLD. She loved on many people including myself. Selfless individual, always greeting people by giving hugs of love and with a conversation. All I can say is Ms. Katie loved loved her husband and 3 daughters, Diana, Denise and Felicia. What an awesome example she left to many about serving God and continuing to pray for people.

March 31, 2025 at 11:38 amI remember Mother Walker picking my sister Naomi and I up for youth choir rehearsal and dropping up off. She was an excellent example of service and watching out for other young people in church. She was a practicing christian that was a great role model to follow. I always loved seeing her when I came home to visit. I will definitely miss her but I have very fond memories of her.
