March 14, 2025 at 10:45 pmI met Sandy when I was assigned to complete my student teaching at Waverly High School. (January, 1970) I began student teaching a bit nervous but Sandy made it easy to find my footing in the classroom. She left that position the following year and Waverly reached out to me. I received a kind congratulations note from her wishing me well in my career and expressing her confidence in my ability. I know that I thanked her then but will express my appreciation again for her contribution to my career in education.
