Visitation will be held Thursday, July 10th, from 4-7 PM at Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel in Holt, Michigan. A celebration of Sy’s life will be held on Saturday, August 16th, from 2-6 PM at his farm in Leslie, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ingham County Animal Control and Shelter.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Inurnment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. A private graveside service will take place on July 3, 2025, at Bailey Cemetery (Vergennes Township) in Lowell, Michigan. Memorial contributions can be made to the City Rescue Mission of Lansing.

Celebration of Life: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2025, at South Lansing Christian Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and/or South Lansing Christian Church in Randy’s honor.
Don did not wish to have a funeral or memorial service, instead opting for his family to host a party to celebrate his life at a future date. He chose two deserving local charities for those who wish to make a memorial donation: Stoneleigh Residence & Hospice of Lansing or the Lansing Symphony Orchestra.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 11:00 am at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Holt, Michigan. The family will host a Celebration of Life ‘Party’ in July, on or around her birthday, in Hendersonville, TN. Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made online to “The Sumner Center.”
