Irene S. Sidnam
Born July 30, 1946 in Battle Creek, Michigan daughter of the late Roland and Roberta (Bradley) Sidnam passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the age of 79.
Surviving are her 3 children, Steven Bruce (Alicia) Courtright, Tammy Jeanne Lawless, and Lorraine Yvonne Cady; 5 grandchildren, Sara Beth (Travis) Crowe, Samantha Jeane Courtright, Donald Moses, Jada Suzanne Tubbs, and Charles Roland Dudley; 1 great grandchild, Namir Tubbs; 2 nieces and their families, Mary Margaret Medler and her children, Ashli (Gregg) Schlee and Katlin (Abigail Medler) Edson and niece, Aimee Powell and her children, Hunter and Eric Powell.
Irene was preceded in death by parents and her sister, Margaret Caruthers.
Irene was a graduate of Charlotte High School. She loved road trips, riding motorcycles, camping, crocheting and was also an avid MSU fan. She loved to make people smile and often was able to do this with her Sassy personality. Most important to Irene was her family. She was a devoted Mother and cherished family gatherings, especially if her grandchildren or great grandchild was able to attend.
Per her wish cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions, in loving memory of Irene, to the American Cancer Society.

October 13, 2025 at 1:18 pmIrene was a sweet lady. Sorry for your loss. The last time I saw here was at the 50th year graduating class reunion. I am a cancer survivor. It’s a horrible disease.
