Thomas J. “TJ” Anthony, Jr.
Thomas Jay (TJ) Anthony, Jr, 45, lost his courageous battle to cancer on September 29, 2025.
TJ was born in Lansing, Michigan on May 3rd, 1980. His restless and wandering soul led him to relocate to Wisconsin, where he lived the majority of his life in Waupaca. TJ was very easy going and accepted others easily. He was very proud of all of his children and loved his family. He had a passion for music and media.
TJ was headstrong and persevered through various cancer diagnoses. Shortly after coming back to Michigan, TJ ultimately succumbed to his illness, under the care of family. Though his time was short, he touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
TJ is preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Anthony, and grandparents Wayne and Blanche Anthony and Gerald and Helen Smith. He is survived by his mother, Teresa Wilder; father, Thomas Anthony, Sr (Jill); daughters, Kayli Anthony and Bella Anthony; Sons, Ashton Anthony, Deven Taber, Hayden Anthony, Thomas Anthony III, Lance Anthony; sisters, Tawnee Tillotson, Tiffany (Jeff) Fritts, Tabitha Anthony, Trina (Anthony) Pearson, Emma Anthony; brother, Terry Burton, Michael (Jessica) Anthony, Jason Anthony, Joshua Anthony and many nephews and nieces.
“Death is that state in which one exists only in the memory of others, which is why it is not an end. No goodbyes, just good memories.”
A visitation will be from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.
