Obituaries

There will be a celebration of both Jim’s and his son Nicholas’ lives at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Burchfield Park in the Pine Knoll Pavilion. 

Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at St. Andrew Dung-Lac Catholic Church, Lansing. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lansing. Her family will receive relatives and friends from 12-8 p.m. on Friday at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel and beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, with visitation one hour prior to the funeral service.  Interment will follow in Delta Center Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.

Funeral service: 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Columbia Road Baptist Church, Mason. Interment will follow at North Aurelius Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lansing City Rescue Mission.

Susan’s Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. EDT at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to one of the following causes: Capital Area Humane Society or The American Lung Association.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Her family will receive relatives and friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home. Interment will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2022, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, where military honors will be provided by the U.S. Army.  Her family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday, and one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday; April 23, 2022, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Lansing.  His family will receive friends one hour prior to the graveside service at the cemetery In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

A celebration of Jeffery’s life will be held at Crossroads Church, 102 W. Cesar E. Chavez Ave., Lansing, MI 48906 on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Those who wish may make memorial contributions, in Jeffery’s memory, to Crossroads Church, 102 W. Cesar E. Chavez Ave., Lansing, MI 48906

A visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2022, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, at St. Mary Cathedral, Lansing. Private inurnment will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army in memory of JD DeWitt.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 21, 2022, at St. Mary Cathedral, Lansing. The Rite of Committal will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. His family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Lansing Food Bank.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.  Interment will follow in Dormition Orthodox Monastery.  Her family will receive friends at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, with a Trisagion Service at 7:30 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.

The service will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the National Wildlife Federation.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, with interment to follow in DeWitt Cemetery.   Her family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time, with a Trisagion Service at 10:30 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice,

Funeral service: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2022, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. Interment will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
