Age 89 passed away April 15, 2020. Private interment will take place at Chapel hill Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will be scheduled for the future.

A memorial celebration will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions, in memory of Rick, may made to the Lansing Police Explorer Post #911 c/o the Lansing Police Department; the 100 Club of Greater Lansing; or the Old Newsboys Association of Greater Lansing.

A memorial service will be planned for a later date due to the current restrictions on large gatherings. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Art’s name to the Boys & Girls Club of Lansing or the Old Newsboys Association.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2020, at St. Andrew Orthodox Catholic Church, followed by a graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery at Noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sparrow Hospice Services.

At Wanda’s request, there will be no service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Greater Lansing Food Bank.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2020, at Maple Ridge Cemetery, 4149 Willoughby Rd. in Holt, where military honors will be provided by the U.S. Army.

A celebration of Jay’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions, in loving memory of Jay, may be made to Hospice of Lansing, the American Cancer Society, or the American Heart Association.

A memorial and interment service will be scheduled at Holy Family Episcopal Church (formerly St. Paul’s) in St. Clair. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Episcopal Church or Blue Water Area Humane Society.

Celebration of Life: 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2020, at Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1001 N. Capitol Ave., Lansing, MI 48906. Memorial contributions may be made to Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2021, at the Eastminster Presbyterian Church, with a visitation to follow. Masks are required for all those attending. Those desiring may make contributions to Eastminster Presbyterian Church, East Lansing, in memory of Bill Cleary (he really wanted the elevator to be paid off).

The funeral service and burial will take place at a later date.  Memorial contributions may me made to McLaren Home Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
