Ruth I. Densmore

Age 87, of Holt, MI, passed away, Tuesday June 9, 2020 in Holt. She was born July 14, 1932 in Eaton County, MI, to the late Lee John and Nellie (Bowen) Robart.

Ruth was a wonderful mother who loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even great-great-grandchildren. She loved to play Bingo and scratch off lottery tickets.

She is survived by her children: Caroline (Ron), Clifford III, Kenneth, Sr., Thomas (Lynn), Carol (Jeffrey), Lou Ann (Terry), Ron (Marci), Deborah, Judy, Linda (Dane), Karen (Dick); son-in-law, Terry; and a daughter-in-law, Michaela. Also surviving are 44 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren with one the way, and 19 great-great-grandchildren with 2 on the way.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 57 years, Clifford L. Densmore, Jr.; children: Linda, Robert and Marilyn;  a grandchild Michael Lee Havens; and two great grandchildren: Irene and Devon.

Ruth was loved by many, and will be missed by many.

There will be a private service for immediate family; interment will take place in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Dimondale. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.

We are so very sorry for your loss. Ruth was so well loved and loved so well. No one was ever a stranger to her, but immediatelty became a part of her big and wonderful family.

Grandma you made me promise to remember you and that was the easiest promise ever made. You were the best, not a day will go by that I won’t think of you. Grandma you are loved beyond words and I will miss you forever.
