Obituaries

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing.

Family will welcome guests for visitation, on Wednesday, December 22nd, from 4-7pm, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. A funeral celebrating Maria’s life will be held Thursday, December 23rd, and 12:00pm, at Cristo Rey Church 201 W. Miller, Rd. Lansing, MI 48911. Interment following the service, at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Sparrow Hospice Services.

There will be no public memorial service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ingham County Animal Shelter.

Memorial services will be held in Texas and in Michigan. Dates and times will be announced at a later date.  Charitable donations may go to: AIDS services of Dallas, Texas.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Kay’s honor to Careline Hospice, Jackson, MI, or to a local hospice organization of your choice.

Lansing, Michigan. Age 98, passed away December 15, 2021.

The family will receive guests at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, Thursday, December 16, at 11:00 a.m., with a funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Interment will take place immediately following, at Evergreen Cemetery.

There will be no service. Memorial donations to the family.

Funeral Service: 12 Noon Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Gardner Middle School Auditorium, Lansing. Interment will follow in the Delta Hillside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, (masks will be required) at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 13, 2022, at St. Mary Cathedral, Lansing. Inurnment at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Kidney Fund.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December, 16, 2021, at Church of The Resurrection.  Interment will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery on Friday, at 11:00 a.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Retreat Center in DeWitt.

Graveside service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Oakwood Cemetery in Traverse City. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Hospice House of Mid-Michigan or The 180 Impact.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Capital City Church of God, with interment to follow in Delta Center Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 a.m. Tuesday until service time.

There will be no services. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

There will be a small service at the Chapel within Deepdale Memorial garden on Waverly, in Lansing at 1:00 pm, Friday, December 17, 2021.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. His family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until service time on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his family in care of Ericka Green.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his name to St. Vincent Catholic Charities or or the Alex Harrison Memorial Foundation, Inc.

Funeral service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 10, 2021, at Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lansing. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel and from 10-11 a.m. on Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org) or Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 10, 2021, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, where the Trisagion Service will be held at 10:30 a.m.  His family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. Friday.  Interment will follow in Deepdale Memorial Gardens.  Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.

A private burial will be held for Stewart and Marion at a future date at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to South Church, or to McLaren Hospice and Homecare.
