Obituaries

At later date, interment will take place in Western New York National Cemetery, Pembroke, New York. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

A graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saved by Zade, Eaton Rapids, or Pennway Church of God, Lansing.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Interment will take place in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Ingham County Medical Care Facility.

A brief visitation will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Manchester, Michigan, with a Funeral Mass immediately following at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either Friends of the Smokies or St. Vincent Catholic Charities.

A memorial service will be held at Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society.

A celebration of Nicholas’ life will be held at a later date.

A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 7, 2022, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Visitation will be Monday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Music program at Central United Methodist Church. Memorial service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Messiah Lutheran Church, Holt. Masks are required. His family will receive relatives and friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, February 4, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, and beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to: Messiah Lutheran Church, Martin Luther High School, or Holt Education Foundation.

There will be a funeral service held 12:00 p.m., Monday January 17, 2022, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Funeral service: 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 14, 2022, at Congregation Shaarey Zedek, East Lansing. Social distancing and masks are required. Interment will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Adat Shalom Memorial Park, Livonia. Memorial contributions may be made to The Kirk Gibson Fund for Parkinson’s or to the Congregation Shaarey Zedek Sisterhood Youth Scholarship Fund (reference the YES Fund).

Service Change: Graveside service: 1:45 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2022, at Bosworth Cemetery in Olivet, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society or to Best Friends Animal Society.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family asks that contributions be made to the West Michigan American Heart Association.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sunday, January 16, 2022, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2022, at St. Andrew Dung-Lac Catholic Church, Lansing. The Rite of Committal will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lansing. Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2022, at the church.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Pennway Church of God in Lansing.  Interment will follow in Deepdale Memorial Gardens.   The family will receive friends at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel on Thursday, from 6-8 p.m. and again on Friday at the Church for one hour prior to the funeral. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ingham County Animal Shelter or Life Challenge of Michigan.

Funeral service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Interment will follow in Deepdale Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 5-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Soaring Unlimited.

A private funeral ceremony will be held in Lansing before his final interment in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to McLaren Hospice or Eaton County Palliative Care.
