Opal loved parties and entertaining, playing card games and hosting family gatherings. She loved her family, especially her 7 grandkids.  Her hobbies were: crafts, especially ceramics, cooking, camping, traveling up north, and shopping.  The past several years she especially enjoyed chatting on the phone to her family and friends, and listening to books on tape.

Gary and Pat, I have fond memories of visiting your parents when I was young. Our parents were friends, our fathers worked together at Bud Kouts back in the day. My parents are Dona and Benny, both deceased. God be with you during these times.

Great grandma Opal,

Brian’s fourth daughter here. I have no memories of you, but it sounds like you were a very family oriented person. I wish the rest of the Kiter family could find it in their hearts to value that more.

RIP.
