March 30, 2022 at 8:32 pmWe are so incredibly sad to learn of the loss of Annie Fannie. I first met Ann at Atkins Advertising, out on Loop 410, over 40 years ago. I was Media Director (at the time) and along with Henri-Ann Reynolds, we handled all of the media schedules and purchases for the agency. She drove a Cadillac Eldorado and I drove a Lincoln Mark V and the sales guys always wondered how much we got paid! We had an incredibly fun time together as single girls and both got married during our stint at Atkins in the late 70’s and early 80’s–so long ago. She hosted a baby shower for me, too. We moved away from Texas out West but never lost touch.
So many happy memories from the old days. What a vivacious, hard-working, yet ready for fun woman! Our condolences go out to you all on such a heart-breaking loss.

October 25, 2023 at 12:15 pmI reached out to Ann about work just today. We’d not touched base for a number of years but I wanted to reconnect with her and hope to get to see her on my next trip to San Antonio. I had no idea that she’d moved or passed away. I guess it’s been over a year but its new information for me and I’m very saddened. She was such a great person to know and work with. I was always happy to see her and spend time with her. She had such great energy and a great spirit. I’m very sorry for your loss and hope the family is doing well. Know that Ann had such a great impact on many lives. God bless…
