A private service will be held.

A mass and graveside service will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Care Team Hospice, 5401 Gateway Center, Suite D, Flint, MI 48507. Please put Peter Shearer in the notation line of the check.

Due to the current virus situation, no service is planned.

Due to COVID a memorial service is not yet scheduled.

The funeral service will be private.  Her family will receive friends at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 2021.  Memorial contributions may be made to Holt United Methodist Church

The family is being served by Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, where a link to a recorded memorial service has been shared shared to remember Vergil.

There will be no public service. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.

In keeping with her wishes there will not be a funeral service at this time. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.

A public visitation will be held from 12:00 – 1:45 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2021, at Pennway Church of God, Lansing. A private in-person funeral service will be held for the family, but friends are invited to view the service via livestream from Pennway. The livestream will go out at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made in her honor to Pregnancy Services of Eaton County, previously known as A New Beginning Pregnancy Center in Charlotte.

Memorial contributions, in memory of Ronald, may be made to the R. J. Scheffel Memorial Toy Project or to the Greater Lansing Food Bank.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 15, 2021, at St. Andrew Orthodox Catholic Church, with interment to follow at 1:00 p.m. in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Memorial contributions may be made to Meals of Hope.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 2021, at St. Gerard Catholic Church, Lansing. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Ele’s Place.

The family will greet visitors on Saturday, Jan 9, 2021, from 12 – 3 p.m., at Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy can be sent to the Friendship Program at River Terrace Church, 1509 River Terrace Dr, East Lansing, MI 48823.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021, at St. Mary Cathedral, Lansing, with inurnment to follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Richard Council #788 K of C.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 31, 2020, at Holt Baptist Church.  Interment will follow in Maple Ridge Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holt Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration, or locally to the Greater Lansing Food Bank.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 2021, at St. Mary Cathedral, 219 Seymour Ave., Lansing. Visitation is from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. with the Mass of the Resurrection immediately following. The wearing of masks and social distancing will be observed during the visitation and Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Philanthropy Department Tidewell Hospice and Lansing Catholic High School.

Charlie is in heaven, celebrating Christmas with our Steve. His health has been failing for several weeks now, and began hospice care.
