April 20, 2021 at 4:47 pmWe first met Phil when he was in the Fremont-Hesperia area of Newaygo County in the 1970’s. We grew to have a deep respect for him and were sad to hear of his death. We send our deep sympathy to Shonita, Allie, Connie and the rest of Phil’s family. Richard and Sherrie, Fremont Michigan

June 20, 2021 at 11:07 amWe were lucky to know Phil, first at Earlham and then in Vietnam countryside before he joined the American USAID, and since then as he used that experience to boldly serve Vietnamese and all diverse families here at home in Michigan.
