I am so sorry for your loss of your mother. I have many memories of Naomi as we both worked as librarians in the East Lansing School System. She was a kind and generous friend, I always enjoyed spending time with her. My deepest sympathy to her family.

She was such a kind and loving person! All 3 of her children have become educated, successful and nice people who are a credit to their communities so it is obvious she was a great parent. She never met a stranger, striking up a conversation while waiting in a line or out and about because she wasn’t a fearful person. It was IMPOSSIBLE to take her anywhere in East Lansing without running into people who knew her. She was truly interested in catching up and hearing about their lives. You would have to allow an extra 30 minutes to any errand to allow for her socializing. It was so gratifying to see how loved she was and know she and Jack had created such an esteemed place for themselves in their corner of Michigan. I was so lucky to have her as a mother in law!!!
