Robert B. Zapolski

Robert ZapolskiAge 72, passed away April 11, 2021.  He was born July 16, 1948, in Saginaw, to Sylvester and Eleanore Zapolski.  Bob graduated from Central Michigan University in 1971, with a bachelor’s degree in Business Education.  He worked at Second National Bank of Saginaw before beginning his career with the Michigan State Police, working as a supervisor in Technical Services.  Bob loved cooking, entertaining and needlework.  He especially enjoyed cooking with his daughter Amanda and having adventures with his wife and family.

He is survived by:  his wife of nearly 50 years, Maureen; daughter, Amanda; brother, William (Debra) Zapolski; sister-in-laws Mary MacConnell and Robyn (Jack) Young and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2021.  The funeral service and burial will be private; however, the livestream is available through this link, https://view.oneroomstreaming.com/authorise.php?k=1619476935112518, at 11:00 Saturday, May 1, 2021.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the National Kidney Foundation.  Online condolences may be left for his family at www.EstesLeadley.com.

So sorry for your loss. Bob was very knowledgeable in his work and had a great work ethic at both 2nd National and MSP. He was greatly respected. I feel lucky to have known him and worked with him.

To Maureen, Amanda and Bob’s entire family:
We are so sorry for your loss. Bob was a wonderful man with a gentle nature and a good sense of humor. We love how dedicated Bob and Maureen were to each other and to Amanda. Although Bob has had many physical challenges his faith God and his love for his family have remained strong. May he Rest in Peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Bob was such a pleasure to work for. In the short time I was his caregiver he always was so thankful for all I done for him n his wife. He will be missed..
