Obituaries

The funeral for David will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. The family will receive friends on Tuesday starting at 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 5, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Estes-Leadley Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lansing, Ionia Area Hospice and Stoneleigh Residence.

A Memorial honoring her life will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, Lansing.

There will be a memorial service held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Funeral Mass: 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024, at St. Mary Cathedral, Lansing. The Rite of Committal will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lansing. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to be made to the Mid-County Rescue Squad in Stephenson, Michigan.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church in Jackson.  Her family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the Funeral Mass.  Private entombment will take place in Deepdale Memorial Gardens in Lansing.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Catholic Charities.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 2, 2024, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive relatives and friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.

A Christian Memorial Service will be held at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Lansing, on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. Visitation with the family will be held in the church lobby starting at 10:00 a.m. Memorial gifts may be given to the Message of Hope Scholarship Fund.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elara Caring Hospice Foundation.

A celebration of Raymond’s remarkable life will be held this summer.

Funeral service: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Heritage Baptist Church, DeWitt. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. His family will receive relatives and friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Mother Teresa House or the Lansing City Rescue Mission.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 22, 2024, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, with interment to follow in Maple Ridge Cemetery.  Her family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday. 

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Sunday, January 28, 2024, at the Classic Pub.

Memorial service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Christ Community Church, Lansing, with interment occurring at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI. Those planning an expression of sympathy or remembrance are asked to consider a memorial contribution to The State of Michigan/Save the Flags.

The funeral service will be held at Emanuel First Evangelical. Lutheran Church, Lansing, Michigan on Saturday, January 27th, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. The service will be Live Steamed at www.emanuelfirst.org. Interment will be on Monday, January 29, at 2:00 p.m., at East Lawn Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church (Almoner Fund) or the Lansing Liederkranz Club.

Funeral service: 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Lansing. Memorial contributions may be made to Beekman Center of the Lansing School District, and the Autism Society of America.

The gathering will be private, with a remembrance celebration to be planned for the spring. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be as desired: donations to your favorite charity or local library, share a special memory, tell a fishing story, attend a local theater production, or just reach out to someone who could use a kind word and a smile.

Age 76 of Lansing passed away January 13, 2024. Larry was a proud Army Veteran and worked for many years at General Motors. There will be a memorial service held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans (D.A.V.)

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, with interment to follow in Deepdale Memorial Gardens.  Her family will receive friends at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, where the Trisagion Service will be held at 7:30 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
