Man uncle Roy you really messed up the family. None of us were ready for it to be you to leave us next. I hope you knew how much you were loved and how heartbroken we are with your loss. Thank you for everything. From the slumber parties at your house and the big family cookouts growing up. Thank you for being my first dance partner and teaching me how to dance when I asked you to teach me. You never made me feel bad because I was terrible at first. It hurts knowing me and my girl cousins will no longer be able to call you to come hang out with us anymore at the dances. You were always down to be with us even if you were the only guy. It hurts to know we will no longer see you out on the dance floor with your smooth moves. I think the only comfort we have is that you finally get to see your parents and siblings again. Love you always tio.

Your niece Mariah

Roy,
You were my brother in law for 38yrs. We had a great relationship and were like a brother to me. We had fun going fishing together, playing basketball and just talking s**t, like we always did. We enjoyed going to the dances or the concerts together.I will always treasure the relationships you had with my girls, grandkids and your sister Christy. They loved you oh so very much and are going to miss you being around. As I’m laying here writing this, I’m thinking back on how you used to cook me a dinner for work and the nickname we gave you was Miguel. You always loved to cook and have a great time. You gave nicknames to my daughters and grandkids, like CB, EB Beni Bronco, and Chichon for Doo Doo. I love you “To Cool Raul”. Please make sure you watch over us and say hi to your Mom, Dad, Louie, Frances, Ron and my parents. Rest easy Roy and until we meet again, we love you.

Roy, I don’t know where to begin. We met many years ago, distance and time led us to different lives until 11 years ago you came back into my life. At first we were friends again then as time moved on we became closer and fell in love. I had the privilege of loving you for the past 11 years and although we had our ups and downs we always managed to stay together and move past them. I’m so lost without you! You were my soulmate and this is so hard to deal with. You showed me so much about myself that I didn’t know and you also showed me what true love was. You loved my son’s as your own and they loved and respected you for taking care and loving me! I will always treasure the time we spent together although my heart hurts for you I know your at peace and no more suffering. Saying goodbye to you is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. Thank you for loving me and being there for me and my son’s. I’ll never forget you and I will always love you. Cindy

Roy, life with you was always an adventure! I will miss going to the casino or just playing on our phones as long as were together. Our journey wasn’t always perfect, but you were my soulmate and the person who knew me best. We weathered every storm but the bond we shared never broke. I will miss all the times we shared together. Thank you for loving my son’s as your own but most of all thank you for loving me. Saying goodbye to you is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do but I promise to keep your memory alive in my heart forever..Rest in peace now my love, until we meet again. I love you now and forever. Cindy
