Obituaries

Memorial service: 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. His family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 18, 2018, at the Holt United Methodist Church, 2321 N. Aurelius Rd., with family receiving friends and relatives from 10:00 to 11:00. Visitation: 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. with an Eastern Star service at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Youth Haven Ranch in Rives Junction or Holt United Methodist Church.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to United Cerebral Palsy of Michigan.

A private family service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan (through the Sparrow Foundation).

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children or Disabled American Veterans.

Funeral service: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, with interment to follow in East Lawn Memory Gardens.  His family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Monday.

Memorial service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018, at First Presbyterian Church of Holt. The family will hold a visitation at the church beginning at 10:00 .am.

Per Bob’s request, no services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Red Cedar Oncology (Blue Jeans Charity Program), East Lansing, MI.

Graveside service: 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Maple Ridge Cemetery, Holt. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Funeral service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2018, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, with a visitation hour prior to the service, starting at 10 a.m. The family will also receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the R.E. Olds Transportation Museum, the Boy Scouts of America, or Mayflower Congregational Church. 

Celebration of Life Luncheon: 12 noon Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Trinity Church, 3355 Dunckel Rd., Lansing, MI. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Dale’s memory be directed to True North Outdoors with Dad Ministries.

A celebration will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2018, at 929 Roxburgh Ave., East Lansing, MI. In lieu of flowers/gifts, please consider a contribution in our mother’s name to: “Mazon: A Jewish Response to Hunger.”

Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at St. Mary Parish, 201 N. Westphalia St., Westphalia, MI. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Westphalia. Visitation at Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel on Friday, January 5th, from 3-6 p.m. where the Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Clinton County Arts Council – Music in the Park (St. Johns) or the Alzheimer’s Association.

Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018, in Deepdale Memorial Gardens, 4108 Old Lansing Rd., Lansing, MI 48917.

Memorial Mass: 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Church of the Resurrection, 1505 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. His family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Work of Christ Community (East Lansing) or Compassus Hospice and Palliative Care (Lansing).

Funeral service: 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2018, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 3, 2018, 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Association.

A memorial service will be held in spring 2018. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 7, 2018, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. His family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 until service time on Sunday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church or to the Greater Lansing Food Bank.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 28, 2017, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice or Asbury United Methodist Church.
