Arthur Lloyd Wilhelm

 

Age 78, of Lansing, MI, passed away March 24, 2018, in Lansing. He was born in Lansing, August 28, 1939, to the late Roy and Estelle (Bushery) Wilhelm.

Arthur was a veteran of the U.S. Navy Seabees serving during the Korean War, and later serving in the Naval Reserves for 15 years.

Arthur is survived by his children, Sharon (Herb) Chandler, Mark Wilhelm, Michelle Jones (Jody Elliott), Aaron (Rebecca) Wilhelm, and Lloyd Wilhelm; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ray (Betty) Wilhelm; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Belle Wilhelm in 2013, and siblings Virginia, Marjorie, and Roy.

The funeral service for Arthur Wilhelm will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
