March 29, 2018 at 12:49 pmSo loved Aunt Grace. What a privilege to not only see her at family functions but also every day at work at Whiting Distribution for many years. I remember how she would put up with Kenny and me when we would cause trouble in and around the Packard Properties.

April 1, 2018 at 10:16 amMy name is Denise, and I would first like to offer my sincerest condolences. I live in Detroit on Fairmount, and I bought my house from Grace Whiting 25 years ago. I was so shocked and saddened to see her picture in the newspaper. What stood out to me about Grace was the pride that she took in her home. When she sold me the home, she told me that the pine tree that’s in my backyard was planted in honor of her son. That tree is still standing there. Please know that Grace was a beautiful lady and I only have good thoughts of her.

October 9, 2018 at 11:33 pmI am her granddaughter. I remember the little self made pond in the back yard. Kind of like a little garden. I miss that house. So many memories there and I remember my dad telling me about her always hiding stuff in the rafters with my grandfather.
Please contact me . I would love to talk to you. 313.236.4755
