Jeri Van Kirk
Holt, Michigan
Age 84, passed away peacefully March 23, 2018, with his wife and daughters at his side. He was born July 27, 1933, in Lansing to Clyde and Nora (Moore) Van Kirk.
Jeri was a 1951 graduate of the Resurrection School. He was a very proud Marine who served in the Korean War. He later went on to work as a route salesman for Wonder Bread/Hostess for several years until he started his career as service writer in auto dealerships, retiring from Capitol Chrysler in 1996.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 41 years, Gloria, daughters Susan (Mickey) Matero, and Ronda Ingram, 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and sister Dixie Buckborough. He is also survived by his children from a previous marriage Steven, Cindy, Joanie, Connie, and Jim.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jacque Van Kirk and Donnie Van Kirk, and a son David Craft.
There will be a visitation for family and friends held 4:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. There will be a private service held later. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Ingham County Animal Shelter, 600 Curtis St., Mason, MI 48854.
