A memorial service will be held at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or to the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 26, 2024, at the St. Mary Cathedral, Lansing. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lansing. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary service at 7:00 p.m. at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. The family will also receive friends for one hour prior to the Mass at the church on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

A celebration of Travis’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 19, 2024, at Riverview Church-Westside, Lansing. Casual dress is requested. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, American Brain Tumor Association, or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

His family will receive friends at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 11, where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the funeral at the church on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Church of the Resurrection, or to Bonehead Hunting Club in memory of James Collinson.

A memorial service with military funeral honors will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Immanuel Community Reformed Church. His family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors Project, or to Compassion International in memory of David Carey.
