Mary Anne Weber

Lansing, Michigan

Born January 6, 1943 in Lansing, Michigan daughter of the late Harold and Mildred (Akre) Peak passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at the age of 81.

Mary Anne was a graduate of Lansing Sexton High School, attended LCC, enjoyed painting, and was a beautiful seamstress.  Mary Anne was a devout Christian, praying for friends and family every single day.  We are grateful for Mary Anne’s lifelong friend, Becky Wretlind of N.C. who shared the love of Jesus with her many years ago.

Surviving are her 2 children, Denise (Michael) Murray and Eric (Kim) Weber; 2 grandchildren, Keara and Connor Weber; sisters, Chris Robbins and Rosie (John) Machado along with nieces and nephews, Cindy Robbins, Brad Robbins, Wendy (Jason) Muzzatti, Jeff Terres, and Rich (Robin) Terres.  Her smile, laughter, and warm heart lit up every room she entered, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Mary Anne was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Phyllis Christie.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.  Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday for 1 hour prior to the service.

Those who wish may make memorial contributions, in loving memory of Mary Anne, to Community Mental Health Authority of Clinton, Eaton & Ingham Counties, 812 E. Jolly Rd., Suite 210, Lansing, MI 48910. Please notate “Adult Mental Health” on the memo line of your check.
