There will be a memorial service held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society. 

There will be no public service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lansing Stoneleigh Residence.

The funeral service will be held at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Homes in West Virginia, on September 13, 2025.

The services will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Leader Dogs for the Blind, or to St. Katherine’s Episcopal Church in Williamston.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lansing, with interment to follow in Hillside Cemetery.  His family will receive friends at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 25, as well as one hour prior to the funeral service at the church on Tuesday.  Memorial contributions may be made to Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church.

The funeral service will be 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. interment will follow in Deepdale Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday for one hour prior to the funeral.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at St. David’s Episcopal Church, 1519 Elmwood Dr., Lansing, MI 48917. The family will receive friends at the Church for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. David’s Episcopal Church.

The memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at The Peoples Church, 200 W. Grand River Ave., East Lansing, MI, 48823. A memorial visitation will be 3:00-6:00p.m., Monday, September 1, 2025 at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, 325 W. Washtenaw St., Lansing, MI 48933, and for one hour prior to the memorial service at the church on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Canines for Change, or The Peoples Church.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM, at Evergreen Cemetery, Mt. Hope Road, Lansing. Donations may be made to the American Kidney Fund, Congregation Kehillat Israel or a charity of one’s choice.

A celebration of Joe’s life will be held at he and Jeanne’s home, 638 Ridgewood Ave, Lansing, MI 48910 on Saturday, August 23, 2025.  It will start at 2:00 p.m. with the rendering of Military Honors. Those who wish may make memorial contributions, in loving memory of Poppa Joe, to the Wounded Warriors Project, the Greater Lansing Food Bank, or the Lansing City Rescue Mission.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00pm, Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at St Andrew Orthodox Church, 1216 Greencrest Ave, East Lansing, MI, followed by interment in Evergreen Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church at 11:00am, prior to the funeral service on Tuesday. . In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to donate to a Ukrainian relief charity of your choice. A memorial visitation will be at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 22, and from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2025.  

The family will be holding a private service. A public Celebration of Life will be announced for a future date.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Red Cross.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2025, as well as one hour prior to the service on Saturday.  Burial will be at Deepdale Memorial Gardens following the service.  A luncheon will follow at DeWitt Township Community Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity in memory of Verina.

Visitation will be at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. A private, family memorial service will be held at a later date.

A memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Mason First United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mason First United Methodist Church Scholarship Fund, the Parkinson Research Foundation or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

There will be a visitation held 4:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, 325 W. Washtenaw St., Lansing, MI. There will be a graveside service 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Delta Center Cemetery, 7301 West St. Joe Highway, Lansing, MI. There will also be a celebration of life gathering held 4:00-6:00 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2025 at the Holt American Legion Post 238, 1785 Cedar St, Holt, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 p.m., Friday, August 8, 2025 at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, 325 W. Washtenaw St., Lansing, MI 48933, with a vigil service 5:00-6:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.   The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:00 a.m., Saturday, August 9, 2025 at St. Andrew Dung Lac Catholic Church, 1611 W. Oakland Ave, Lansing, MI 48915.

A memorial visitation will be held at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society.

The funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2025, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, where her family will receive friends beginning at 11:30 a.m.   Interment will follow in Maple Ridge Cemetery in Holt.
