Carolyn Jean Adams
Holt, Michigan
Born October 30, 1934 in Lansing, Michigan daughter of the late Ernest and Faye (Williams) Crowe passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at the age of 91.
Surviving are her son, Thomas (Julie) Adams; son-in-law, Bill Mayers; grandchildren, Michael T. (Stephanie) Adams, Michelle (Brian) Trudell, and Joe (Hillary) Mayers, and great grandchildren, Gabriel, Levi, Laynee, Lincoln, Gwen, October, and Grayson.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Harold “Tater” Adams and her daughter, Karen Mayers.
Carolyn was a devout family woman who cherished the time she got to spend with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also an excellent caregiver. She loved Southern Gospel music and traveled all over the country attending concerts.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Lansing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday for 1 hour prior to the service.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions, in loving memory of Carolyn, to U of M Sparrow Home Hospice.

So very sorry for your great loss. My family lived across the street for about 40 years. Lots a great memories especially doing your Mom & Grandmas’ hair for many years and her great cooking. She will be greatly missed. Thoughts and prayers to you all.
