A Celebration of Life will be held January, 28th 2023, 11AM-2PM at Hidden Gem in Holt. All are encouraged to wear Green and White.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society.
A private service will be held. Interment will take place in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
There will be no funeral service. For those desiring memorial contributions may be made to a food bank of the donor’s choice, Capital Area Humane Society, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
Memorial service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Holt United Methodist Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Perry’s memory may do so through contributions to: “Perry M. and Uyvonne Johnson Endowed Scholarship in Criminal Justice and Ethics” endowed scholarship in Criminal Justice at MSU; Holt United Methodist Church; or The Southern Poverty Law Center.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2022, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, with interment in Oak Plain Cemetery in Shaftsburg. Her family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Friday, where a Trisagion service will take place at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 2, 2023, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, with interment to follow in East Lawn Memory Gardens. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 1, 2023.
Funeral service: 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2023, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Visitation: 12:00-4:00 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2023, and also one hour prior to the funeral at Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.

Age 80, passed away December 8, 2022. He was born May 24, 1942, in Anderson, Indiana, to Russell and Catherine Hershberger. Richard retired from the State of Michigan. He will be buried next to his wife, in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan.
Visitation will be from 12-3 and 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. If anyone wishes to share memories of Michele, they may do so from 2:30-3:00 p.m. (during the first visitation). Memorial donations may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society or Susan G. Komen (Breast Cancer Foundation).
Funeral service: 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Holt Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Stockbridge. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
