There will be no service.

Velma will be interred in Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak. Date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations be made to the P.E.O. Sisterhood.

Funeral service: 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at University United Methodist Church, 1120 S. Harrison Rd., East Lansing. The family will receive friends at the University United Methodist Church on Friday, July 28th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and again on Saturday for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Crystal Springs United Methodist Camp, Sycamore Creek Church, or to his youth basketball league c/o Jacqueline Samara at 1155 Hillgate Way, Lansing, MI 48912.

Funeral service: 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Interment will follow in Deepdale Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.

Funeral service: 12:00 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2017, at the Holt Christian Church, 2424 Washington Rd., Lansing. Visitation will be Monday, one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in Springport Cemetery, Harrisville Twp., Michigan. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Holt Christian Church.

Graveside service: 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lansing. His family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 28th at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.

Funeral service: 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 14, 2017, at Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1001 N. Capitol Ave., Lansing. Interment will follow in Deepdale Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Friday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.

Memorial visitation: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.

Memorial service: 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2017, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, with inurnment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. His family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice, or the Ingham County Animal Shelter.

Funeral service: 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2017, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Interment will follow in Deepdale Memorial Gardens, Lansing. His family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial service: 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Grace United Methodist Church, 1900 Boston Blvd., Lansing, MI. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Heart Association of Michigan at www.heart.org/okemos or the National Parkinson Foundation at www.parkinson.org are desired.

Funeral service: 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2017, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, interment will follow in Mt. Rest Cemetery, St. Johns. Visitation will be Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Funeral service: 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1001 N. Capitol Ave., Lansing. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Her family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to her church or the Greater Lansing Food Bank.

Memorial service: 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 21, 2017, at South Church, 5250 Cornerstone Drive, Lansing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.

Her family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until service time on Tuesday. A reception will follow at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 218 W. Ottawa, Lansing, MI 48933. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, in memory of Ruth Farmer.
