Jenny Adams

Age 50, of Lansing, passed away September 28, 2017.  She was born May 10, 1967, in Saginaw County.  Jenny worked as a home health aide, then volunteered at Capital Area Humane Society and Meals on Wheels.  She was active with First Presbyterian Church in Lansing, where she helped with the food bank as well as other church functions.

Surviving are:  her parents, Russel and Elaine Scovill of East Lansing; son, Joshua Adams of Lansing; husband, Tom Hawkey of Lansing; brothers, Roger (Shirlee) Scovill of Bay City and Douglas (Pam) Scovill of Davisburg; sister-in-law, Amy Scovill of Green Oaks, IL; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Ken Scovill.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at First Presbyterian Church, 510 W. Ottawa St., Lansing.  Interment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.  Her family will receive friends at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Monday.  Memorial contributions may be made to Capital Area Humane Society or First Presbyterian Church in memory of Jenny Adams.  Online condolences may be left for her family at www.EstesLeadley.com.
