Obituaries

There will be a burial service, with military honors, at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2024, at East Lawn Memory Gardens, Okemos. Memorial donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans (D.A.V.)

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, with interment to follow in Deepdale Memorial Gardens.  Her family will receive friends at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, where the Trisagion Service will be held at 7:30 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Estes-Leadley Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to P.O.E.T Animal Rescue.

There will be no service.

Funeral service: 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. Interment will follow in Markham Cemetery. Her family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, January 14 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, with interment to follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.  Her family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time.

There will be a private memorial to take place at a later date.

Funeral services will be private.

In lieu of services, Jo will be laid to rest in Houghton Lake, MI, at a time of the families choosing.

There will be a memorial service to honor Lady’s life which will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. There will be a visitation for one hour prior to the memorial service on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, or the American Heart Association.

Memorial service: 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2024, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Her family will receive relatives and friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2024, at Holt Christian Church, where family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association. 

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 5, 2024, at Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lansing, with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. His family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the church, Alzheimer’s Association, or the charity of one’s choice.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.  His family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.  Private interment will take place in Cadillac. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the American Diabetes Association.

The family will have an interment ceremony, for both Janet and Bob’s urns, at the family plot at Evergreen Cemetery in Lansing at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 1st, 2024.  A gathering for family and friends will follow the interment at the VFW Post #671, 12250 Old US 27, DeWitt, MI 48820. Please send donations to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan in memory of Janet.

There will be no service. Private inurnment will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to City Church, Lansing.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 5, 2024, at St. Mary Cathedral, where visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m.  Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial service will be announced shortly. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Friends and Family of Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at FFofCF.org

The funeral service for Patricia will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Tuesday, one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
