Chris was a beautiful soul, and gave so much of himself to the people around him. Those of us who had the privilege of knowing him are so thankful for our time with him, and know that more than anything he prided himself as a family man first and foremost. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and children.

I pray that you’ll find comfort in all the good memories you made together, and that you’ll be able to find peace at the end of the dark road you’re currently on. Sending big hugs for all.

Chris or “Padisher” … I miss you.

Aris and I did a lot of crying the day we received the news from Bud.

We had met online in a game called World of Warcraft. My fiance and I (a gay couple) were brand new to the game and it was very overwhelming. We tried to join guilds, but to our surprise a lot of them would get weirdly homophobic when we would talk. Probably due to effeminate voices.

Chris invited me to join Elwynn Guard, and he was the co-leader. He would advertise for the guild everyday, he basically *was* the leader. We all collectively got together and overthrew the previous leader and assigned Chris as our guild leader.

He was a silly, funny guy. Chris had a sense of humor that really is unrivaled. Dry humor, crude humor, wholesome humor — the man had it all.

Chris never ever said or did anything to hurt those around him. Chris and his best friend Bud (Sevenmm) made Aris and I feel so accepted and loved…Chris was open-minded, and he carried an open-heart.

Aris and I quit the game because of real life issues. We couldn’t afford to pay the subscription. But guess what? As a gift, Chris sent us BOTH a month subscription. We paid him back, but he didn’t even ASK us to.

I remember the adventure’s we’d go on in World of Warcraft Classic. We were both human Warlocks going after the same items. I remember when his Warlock pet would accidentally aggro random dungeon mobs and we’d wipe. Priceless, and it makes me sad to know that won’t happen again.

I never knew Chris in real life. I didn’t ever meet him face-to-face. But it sure as hell felt like that and more. He offered Aris and I to come on down one day to crash at his place and meet up with his friend Bud and we’d just shoot the time and drink and enjoy each other’s company.

Chris really did have an impact on our lives. This sounds like an over-exaggeration, but for someone to be as open-hearted, open-minded, and funny / kind…that’s a diamond in the rough.

Regardless of any of the personal problems he had going on in life, that simply is life. I hate saying that, but “it is what it is.” 🙁 of course he was far from deserving of the things that haunted him, his vices. Man I wish I could give him one last sad crying hug.

Mr. and Mrs. Swayze, if you two are reading this please contact me via email: onlyronan@protonmail.com <— I'd really like to talk to you guys, and his wonderful children. We talked a few times over Discord and I want them to know just how cool their dad is.

Chris always (quite always) talked about his children, his partner at the time Shannon, Bud (his best friend), and his shop.

– Chris, we will all miss you forever. Really. Tears run down my face as I'm typing this but your heart and mind were so profound that you leaving this Earth early makes me feel like we lost an angel that roamed the Earth. –

At the very least, you are *genuinely* in a better place now. Just know, I will never forget you. Aris will never forget you. Your family will never forget you. Bud will never forget you. We will never forget your quirks, your humor, your heart, your acceptance, your jokes, and who YOU are. You changed a lot of people without even knowing Chris.

I love you Christopher Michael Swayze. You were the most badass friend I've had.

Rest in peace, and I am going to change my Warlock macros to all reference you…

🙁 we're all going to remember you forever. Don't ever think you'll be forgotten Chris.

– Sincerely,
Rownynn of Elwynn Guard, Nethergarde.

I just found out about this…
Padisher like others have said was one of the best people I have met, and gave selflessly of himself. I joined WoW not knowing anyone, and met him, and some of the others above, and was accepted right away and had a good friend in about 15 min. He was always helping others and getting people to do the same. He was a good family man, as evidence of the daily life he would talk about on Discord. I’m sure he is missed by his RL family, but his wow family misses him as well.

*salutes*
