Bill is the definition of a Gentleman!
He would always take the time to stop and chat, always an upbeat personality.
May the family be comforted knowing that he is now in gods arms.

We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our friend and outstanding citizen – Bill Bischoff…..As a former associate of the Estes-Leadley Funeral Homes, this author had the privilege of working with Bill, both within the funeral home and throughout the community on various community relations endeavors. And a privilege it was, for Bill was a true gentleman, extremely knowledgeable in areas of consumer law, insurance and practices as they relate to serving families in the funeral business. We are reminded of his always kind, gentle, and generous demeanor. Prior to our relocation to Florida, my wife and I followed Bill’s wise tutelages and belief in one’s financial well-being by attending to our own needs when we too will receive the call home. Today, we continue to be thankful for Bill’s wisdom. No doubt one of many such stories attributable to William M. “Bill” Bischoff. Thank you, Bill……

To Bill’s wonderful wife, Marilyn, sons, Scott and Brian, brother James and grandson Mark, may we extend our deepest and sincerest sympathy for each of you and your loved ones in your time of bereavement.

My thoughts are with the family. I was in class of ’53 as Bill and Marilyn were.

Bill was a friend of mine during my career with Batesville. He was a pleasure to know. Always positive, caring, helpful, willing, and happy. I am glad I knew Bill, will certainly miss him and will treasure my memories of him at Estes-Leadley.

Bill became a great friend, mentor and colleague of mine while I worked at Forethought. He was always optimistic, had a good joke, and loved what he did. He used to make me laugh. He was before his time with pre-planning. He left a great footprint and touched many people. I’m glad I knew him.
