Warren M. Hoyt

Warren M. Hoyt, 94 of Winter Springs FL, was called to his Heavenly Home on Tuesday, November 20, 2018.  He was born December 1923 in Pearl MI, to Lloyd and Madeline (Crofoot) Hoyt. As a proud WWII veteran, he was a member of the 124th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion, seeing action in Europe including the Battle of the Bulge. Returning home, he married Nelda (Spencer) and they had three children. Retired over 30 years he worked as a Mobile Home Park Manager and earlier as a Chevy Service Manager.
He was a lifetime member of the VFW and a founding member of VFW post 791 Fennville.  He was a member of the American Legion and Zion Lutheran Church, Lansing, Michigan.
He is survived by his son Kenneth (Marclyn) Hoyt, their son Daniel (Carrie) and their daughters Audrey and Stella; daughter Nancy (Alan) Yeates, their son Kevin (Amy), their children Charlotte and George; their son Jeremy (Sarah), their children Aiden, Cora, Sophie, and Everett.
Preceding him in death were, his wife Nelda of 57 years, daughter Jorja (Art) Hershman and their child Jessica; brothers Ernest and Paul, Sisters Eva and Lois. Surviving are sister Janet (John) Buss, and sister-in-laws Lena, Marlene and Violet; many nieces and nephews.
A funeral for Warren will be held Friday, November 30 at 10 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 4001 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Lansing MI with visitation at 9 a.m., Pastor Michael Bater officiating.  A 3 p.m. Service will be held graveside at North Shore Memory Gardens, Coloma MI.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 4001 S. Pennsylvania Ave, Lansing

I knew Warren, because i helped Nelda with some medical procedures, that she needed Quite often …. We sat and talked …. The Three of us for hours and hours and hours over the last year of Nelda’s life ….. Warren was Nelda’s EYES and Warren was just a Great Guy!

I am sad to see, that you have lost Warren
