Wallace R. Nourse

Wallace, of Holt, MI,  died April 17, 2021 at the age of 93.  He was born June 1, 1927 in Lansing to Ilah (Knapp) and Ronald Nourse, both of whom preceded him in death.  He attended Sexton High School and then did a stint in the U.S. Navy, being discharged in 1946.  He received a degree from Michigan State University after which he worked for Bendix and then for Ford Motor Company.  He retired in 1989 from the Lansing Board of Water and Light where he was employed as Treasurer/Controller.  He was an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Holt.

He was preceded in death by his best friend and loving wife, Thelma (Norris).  He is survived by their children, Carole Stephenson and Donald (Tracy) Nourse, three grandchildren, Anthony (Stacy) Lundy, Amy (Steve) Casciotti, and Julie (Chris) Myers, in addition to six great-grandchildren, Jade Lundy, Caden Walsh, Emerson Myers, Noah Casciotti, Quinn Myers and Samantha Casciotti.

Due to Covid-19 no memorial service is scheduled at present.  Donations may be directed to First Presbyterian Church of Holt. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.

Rest in peace, Uncle Wally. My heart goes out to you–last of the Greatest Generation in our family. May you dance with Aunt Thelma today in paradise, and may perpetual light shine on you both! Love to my cousins, Carole and Don.
