Dear Viv and family, I am so sorry to learn of your loss of sweet Ginny. I have wonderfully fond memories of riding with her, Julie, Donnie, Greg, and my brother Johnny to the little Chattanooga SDA church school in her station wagon. She has always had the sweetest smile and was so willing to help others. When I was at Collegedale Academy she altered a second hand dress and made a beautiful blue velvet wrap to go with it for me to wear to a formal school banquet; and she did it all in about two days. My banquet would not have been the same with her help. She was such a talented seamstress and also a wonderful musician and pianist. One of the things she made that I always loved and that so impressed me as a youngster was the huge braided rug that she created by hand for your newly enlarged family room–which you and Uncle Paul added to your house on Connelly Lane.
When I came to MSU to do a veterinary internship you and Ginny opened your home to me and helped me feel so welcome. Please know that I share in your sorrow and that you are in the hearts and prayers of your Tennessee family. Love, Dolly
