Age 69, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021. She was born July 4, 1951, in Anderson, SC, to Guyroan and Elouise Jenkins.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Immanuel’s Temple Systems of Church, 5400 S. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Lansing, MI. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.

Sorry I’m not there…..Sometimes saying goodbye is too hard for me to bear. I don’t even know what to say. As long as there was me, there was you. The only person next to mom who was there my whole life.
From picking me up from school when you knew I wasn’t sick, to walking home to your house for lunch. French toast, pb&j and bologna were your lunch specialties lol. If we didn’t like it, you didn’t care. Eat it and go back to school or don’t eat it and still go back to school.
You just told me last year when I was 47 you never liked us calling you Gent. I said, well I’m not changing it now. You’re too old and I’m too old to change it now. So you will forever be our Gent.
We love you, will miss you, and will never forget you!
